This I wouldn't have a problem with.

I think the Federal mandate restricting DOT funding should be rescinded thus; allowing local governments the option to choose a viable discourse would be advisable.

It was a good idea but, then the internet happened and street drug production/ distribution has placed teens in dire risk over weighing the option of having teens in bars with limited accountability.

All IMO.

I was a first generation patron of the "raise age" and now it makes little sense.

So you can vote and go to war, but you can't drink?

I mean, I've met two people in my entire life that didn't drink until they were 21 so as to not break the law. If 18 year olds want to drink they will drink.

Shouldn't be allowed to vote either.

They should be allowed to drink on military base, though.

Then murder should be legal.

I mean, if someone really wants to kill someone, they don't say "If only it was legal, I would murder this person."

Great question!

What separates this generation from the generation who got it lowered from a much more rigid frame structure than is present today?

They almost had grass legalized but, disco killed that!

But think of the of the marketing opportunities that would be open for new graduates? Popsicle wine coolers would assuredly make a comeback!

It's probably not going to happen, but my argument holds merit that it should be a local judgement, not a Federal strangle hold on road funding if you don't agree with big brother.

Hard liquor should ethically have a minimum age of 30+ and nobody over 60 is allowed spirits of any kind.
