Yea I am late on this..I know a lot of LSU fans don't give Alabama players kudos when it is due. I found myself watching the replay of the LSU vs. Bama 2014 game tonight. Every game I have watched Cooper play in, man coverage, double coverage, bracket..etc, he has shined. Every interview I have seen of him has brought me closer to his corner as an elite player and person. Congrats to this man on his first round draft pick, and to him a long and prosperous career.

Amari Cooper had more receiving yards this year than Mark Ingram had rushing yards his heisman year. Two of the worst heisman decisions ever

To clarify this was a post directed towards his character more than on field abilities, which were outstanding. Never once do I remember this kid running his mouth about how good his team or himself performed. Players like this always have me in their corner. Always good for the game we religiously watch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Not really. Sims had tunnel vision for him all season long and Kiffin's offense inflates top receivers numbers. Just ask Marquise Lee. Cooper's numbers actually hurt the offense in a lot of ways because they did a very poor job finding ways to get other players the ball like Henry, Howard, and White. So when Cooper gets contained by the other team, Kiffin had no idea what the hell to do and the offense goes into funks and looks very disjointed like against LSU, Arkansas, second half of Ole Miss, and a good part of the Ohio State game as well.

For his sake I hope he doesn't end up a Raider but in todays game he is worth a top 5 pick. Don't want him with the Jets either. As a Saints fan him and Julio would be a nightmare. Wish the Saints could get him, but with our shite O-line and Linebackers I think we have other glaring needs.

But he was still that good as an identified target. The only game he was held in check was Arkansas.

Would you want to be a Raider? I'm not sure getting drafted by the Raiders or the Browns would be worse..

For the sake of his career I'm hoping he slips a bit to the Vikings.

The Vikings QB situation and overall management is about the same as the Raiders.

Cooper has the physical tools, work ethic, and mindset needed to have a very successful NFL career. And, as you have mentioned, he appears to be quite humble. One of my favorite all-time Bama players.

Yeah, I agree with you. Also thought he should have won the Heisman. Glad that he is no longer going to be wearing a Bama jersey.

Incredible player.

The best CFB receiver I've seen in many years.

Our team this year was really likable. Sims and Coop are both just really solid guys, great work ethics, etc.

Generally, once you get past the rivals hate and such, our team is generally made up of pretty decent guys who do things the right way.
