Here's the story behind why it's just Hare Stadium in the picture and not Cliff Hare Stadium: War Eagle Reader

But at some point after they took the “Cliff” off and before they added the “Jordan,” and for at least the amount of time it takes for a shutter to click, it was just Hare Stadium.

Dang, times have changed... When I started Auburn, this was the stadium, down to the Hare Stadium....

Saw on the scoreboard where we were playing UT Chat, - I was at the game. I was there when it was Cliff Hare Stadium and had the track around it. Im older than I look

Of course a color photo would have been better but what the frick were we thinking by ripping that brick off. The 70s & 80s were a shite show for architecture.

maybe the brick was so screwed up it was cheaper to tear it down rather than replace it
