Let us come together and help LSU
I think all Hog fans should help our neighbors to the South.. We generally don't get along with Cajuns...but we are neighbors and they need our help. Also, Maybe Wal-Mart can run some aggressive discounting in South Louisiana to free up some money.

I have my thoughts on why our state is in dire financial trouble right now and it's more political than anything else. It is a shame that higher education in our state always gets the first cuts. And I know trolling is what some people come here for. But I don't know who finds any of this funny.

Initially jindal was very popular amongst the state, especially since there's a ton of business coming to South Louisiana (40 billion to Lake Charles alone with GTL plants)
However, he's relentlessly gutted education in the state, and his pandering to the Christians base and undivided attention to Iowa and South Carolina for his presidential run isn't sitting well.
Most are mad he's sacrificing higher education for things such as subsidies for the film industry.
I'll give him credit: he's tried to shut down pathetic universities such as SUNOLA, but there's too much politics involved for him to succeed. that's political suicide for any local rep from that area
He's far from the worst governor Louisiana has ever had, but it's a laugh riot that he thinks he's a presidential candidate. The Dems will have plenty of ammunition against him with his overall body of work as governor

It's rather pathetic that you can't separate being a fan and disliking a rival school from real world matters. It's pretty sad that this could happen and could affect thousands, but its funny because you hate the schools football team. Grow the frick up.
