Guy making millions from redneck gag gifts

Jonah White founded this company 21 years ago. He lived in his parents house and made fake hillbilly teeth and sold them from an 800 number.
He no longer has to make the teeth himself...he owns a factory in Taiwan that manufactures them.
He's not actually a redneck himself--his father is an anthropology professor. Jonah was the leading rusher for the Missouri State football team in 1992.
He's quite the success story. They have an article about him in last week's Bloomberg News. I would have never thought there was that much money in stupid junk such as this.
He owns huge log cabin on a 700 acre property and has a pet black bear, bobcat, and red fox.

seriously, it blows my mind how stuff like that actually gets traction.
"hey, let's make something that's essentially facebook...except that it's ONLY pictures". Sounds meh..boom instagram

"let's make something that is just a facebook status update. But nothing else like facebook, JUST the status update". It'll never work...hello twitter
"let's make something kinda like a facebook wall...you pin things you like on your wall" Sounds boring...now we have pinterest
Some of these ideas just saying them out loud sound so unbelievably stupid and pointless, yet the people who made them are probably billionaires. I don't get it.

Jonah is a redneck I went to school with him and he was Coors Player of the year for our 92 team.
Jonah was a strange cat and still is. He was the driving force behind the latest SMS football hire, that none of the alumni supported, except him.

Jonah used to go hunting and would shine. He and his roomie.
Jonah was the king of DMSO also. I hated opening up his travel bag, because you knew the smell of onions was there and occassionally the bottle would still be there.

I saw a show about him one time ... on Fox News I think it was.
He lived in a cave for awhile.
I saw his house in the show, the pet bear, which he should let-go, and the other eccentric stuff he has.

I read somewhere that the guy who came up with drilling holes in tennis balls and selling them as antenna swag was a multi millionaire.
