The funny thing is Coach Mac is on his second DL coach and still no WR coach.

SIAP: WR Joshua Hammond: Last year, it was Calvin Ridley who ended up as one of the nation's top receivers out of South Florida, and in 2016, Hammond is a good bet. The younger brother of former Florida and current NFL receiver Frankie Hammond possesses good size at 6-foot-1, with long arms and excellent body control. He has the ability to adjust to throws outside his catch radius and is a difficult one-on-one matchup when the ball is in the air. Hammond features excellent timing with the ability to high-point the ball in traffic, as well as the speed and acceleration to maximize yards after the catch. Look for Hammond to enter the ESPN Junior 300 with a big splash.

That was a huge hire. After the Lubick debacle I like to wait until its actually official before I get excited but props to 89 as well on that.

Word is Napier is being worked on by the staff to make the jump to UF.

The new staff is already generating a lot of buzz on the recruiting trail and the Rumph hire is huge for DL commits. I said before I live in Clemson and all my friends here have nothing but great things to say about him.

With the makeup of this staff McElwain was not joking when he said he wanted to take back Florida.

There is another rumor Dee Liner is being looked at by UF since Rumph recruited him at Bama. I think if he did come to UF he would have to sit out 2015.

McElwain has already proven he has far better relationships and knows how to fill out a staff in comparison to WM. It goes deeper than just great hires. He is hiring guys that will work well together. WM was never able to get that part of it.

Same thing goes for the infrastructure of the program. McElwain is assembling a secondary staff behind the scenes. Something WM didn't think was necessary.

New facilities. Check.

Things are looking up. Just need some patience.

I think Muschamp ends up a solid to good HC for some school down the road but he clearly wasn't ready for UF. Not surprising since he learned from what turned out to be sinking ships with Mack Brown and Tuberville before that. His UF time seemed eerily similar to both those HCs decline.

While I thought UF should have hired a spread guy, sounds like McElwain is putting together the infrastructure at UF to sustain a top program rather than rely on FL talent. That was the first thing Gus Malzahn did at Auburn, put together extensive secondary staff, push for improvements and build a staff that worked together.

I'm excited to see how UF turns it around. Got a bunch of bonafide UF, hang their jorts friends and they are all great people.

Also, how do UF fans feel about Miami and Al Golden? Seems like he is slowly turning it around but I still don't seem to feel the buzz of "The U."

-Are they rebuilding their Miami pipelines they once had?

-Do any FL kids still dream of playing for "The U?" Do Miami kids even care?

- Will UF be making the Miami/South FL the "main priority" or just part of their FL recruiting scheme?
