So apparently North Little Rock (Ark.) head coach Brad Bolding is getting fired due to a private school fundation being used to purchase equipment for the football team. The district has already started the process for termination.

KJ Hill is a four star recruit that was deciding between Arkansas, Ohio State among others.

Anyway, the report from the media and all over the Arkansas boards is that the coach knew he was getting fired and approached Arkansas that he could guarantee the committment of Hill IF he was given a spot on the coaching staff.

I don't think this really effects Hill either way. But interesting recruiting story for today.

P.S. KJ Hill signed his LOI with Ohio State this morning.

Who cares?

No seriously people who follow recruiting so seriously are just goofy, IMO.

I hated recruiting season when I worked in CFB, I really hate it now that I am not in it. I do not care if so and so is 5 star or if this guy is gong to my school. I will still watch whoever the Tigers line up on Saturdays, cheer for them and be the same person.

I think it's fun to know about players on the roster and their back story.

I don't obviously freak out when a player doesn't come here, tweet at them, etc. but it's nice to know a little about each guy and a good way to do that is follow their recruiting news.

To each his own.

Really was not directed at you, but just a general statement directed at anyone who follows it religiously.
