Silas Hunt enrolled in the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, becoming the first African American to attend classes at a southern University since Reconstruction. No guns, no military, just a guy going to class.

My thoughts exactly. Amazing the 180 the majority of the nation has done on diversity in such a short time. It's remarkable and it makes me proud
Still a ways to go, probably always will be, but damn seeing stuff like this always puts it in stark contrast for me.
Kudos to Arkansas and Silas Hunt!

makes me proud too honestly- it's just such a dumb idiotic thing that the color of skin was (is for some still) something that people felt so negative or strongly about.
seriously the color of skin- omgggggg wtf it sounds so ridiculous. it's so sad that it took so long tho.
