yeah but Iowa was like 1 of 20 for 3 point shots, and still in the game. That was bit of a fluke, esp considering they were at home.
Since that game, CLemson has won at Pittsburgh, a hard place to win, at NC State who beat Duke, and blew out Syracuse at home, and a nice last second win over Wake Forest who has some good young talent. They also lost a close one to ND at ND, a team that beat Duke. Bball is a lot more unpredictable than college football.

Its called defense. Its not a fluke when you hold your opponents to around 35% from the floor on the year.
Also, like I said, the game was in Brooklyn, New York. Not a home game for ISU

Clemson held NC State to 28 percent shooting, and nc state beat Duke. so there. sometimes it is defense, sometimes it is just bad shooting. 3's tend to be lower percentage shots anyway

But in the context of holding Iowa State to 1 of 20 from 3 because our defense is great and not some fluke, it means jack shite

lol well pretty sure SC isn't going to hold a good 3 point shooting team to 1 of 20. I'm skeptical Iowas State shoots 3's well. even on a bad night, teams are usually gong to shoot a higher percentage on 3's than that. Lot of times in college ball you see teams chukking 3's even if that isn't their strength.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Iowa State averages close to 90 points a game and is a very good 3 point shooting team

ok well if SC was holding teams to 1 of 20 on 3's every game, they would have better record. lol i'm not saing they are bad on defense but obviousy iowa state had a off night on 3's.
If my math is right, Iowa State shot 50 percent on 2 point shots so SC must have been focused on shutting down the 3's, but you won't win many games when the other team shoots 50 percent on 2's.
