Is this thread necessary? These are the types of threads that make me hate this board at times.

I remember when they were one of the best teams in the ACC up there with Carolina and Duke.

UK has a national title in football...

They have the same # of SEC Championships as USC since USC joined the conference

Ok should we say MSU football then? Or are you just determined to miss the point?

I don't see an improvement in SC under Frank Martin over the last coach and the last few years of Odom. He doesn't seem like type of coach kids would want to play for, too angry

You sheep humpers don't see much of anything other than the insides of sheep pens and the tops of your sisters' heads.

But what do we Gamecock fans see you ask?

Thanks for asking. I don't mind telling you ...

We see a team that never quits, that plays with enthusiasm and effort.

We see a team that plays damn good defense, even against more talented teams.

We see a team that has lost seven games by 5 pts or less ... four of those, I think, by 4 pts or less.

We see a team that hustles and plays for their coach. They love him.

We see recruiting getting better every year.

We see an even better class coming next year - one that includes a McDonald's All-American to go with this very young team we have this year.

So, we're cool with Martin. We see improvement. We also think this season is a long ways from over.

Not to sound defensive but I have never humped a sheep.

It was after SC blew out Clemson that their season nose dived. One can't help but wonder if they thought they were world beaters because they beat Clemson, and got too cocky.

Oh hell ... we've got a goat humping taterhead here bubbaloo!

They're almost the worst kind, just above the calf humping taterheads.

frick you for even being on this forum bitch.

BTW, tonight we were without Meat Henry ... who knows, might have made a major difference having our starting center tonight.

Right now it's more about missed shots and missed opportunities, but all it's gonna take is to get over the hump. This team just needs some breaks right now ... and a couple of shooters for next year ... and Martin will have it going.

that is cool with me. when i lived in cola i wouldn't have mind going to some bbal games if they were a good team.

to be fair, i rarely see a program where the kids don't play hard, and teams without good shooters tend to be better at defense b/c they have to be to have a shot. I think it is a weak argument for Martin to point out he gets the kids to play hard because it is improbable they wouldn't play hard under another coach.

Actually we beat a top 10 Iowa State team in Brooklyn after that.

It was during the Florida game that our season decided to jump off a cliff
