Put another way, Oregon exceeds their recruiting ranking (16th) to be 4.25... Saban and Bama under achieve since their recruiting ranking is #1, but they are 3.25...

Bama does not develop talent, Oregon does...

That's like Georgia levels of underachieving!

Final AP Polls and 247 Composite Data. Teams that finished outside the "Others Receiving Votes" I just gave a 40 or 45 (though I don't think any of those other than Ohio State made the Top 10).

Where are the other teams from SEC?

Also,

Yeah, because winning a national title every year is totally realistic if all you do is sign the #1 class. I'll take the 2 titles in 4 years, being a Kick Six away from playing for another, and being in the first CFB playoff and say they've achieved just fine.

Yep.

I'm surprised Bama has lost their last two bowls considering on paper, they are far and away the most talented.

Imagine after this class and Alabama doesn't win an NC in the next two years.

Ohio State, per recruiting rankings, had the 2nd best talent group behind Alabama from 2011-2014. Didn't really know that.

Actually this past year they lost to a team that had pretty comparable talent per the recruiting rankings in OSU. #1 vs #4.25.

This is like Adam Scott losing half his golf matches to me and claiming he's doing well because he won half of them.

Exactly.

The idea that only one team every year had a successful season is going to ruin college football. I think in a few years when playoff appearances replace BCS bowls as a dick wavering metric things will settle.

Your analogy is moronic. If Adam Scott won 50% of the tournaments he played in he would go down as one of the greatest golfers in history. Tiger Woods has only won 27% of his tournament starts - against a pool of competitors not nearly as talented as he is - and he's largely regarded as one of the two or three best golfers of all time.

I wish you had a single clue sometimes, but I understand how hard it is for a State fan to have an intelligent conversation about expectations considering State never has any.

I know he said 50% of his matches against HIM (meaning the poster). Nothing wrong with my reading comp. His analogy is still moronic. I simply made a comparative analysis that was more relevant to the topic at hand. The gap between Adam Scott's talent and that poster's golf talent is far greater than - and cannot be compared to - the gap between Alabama's football talent and that of other elite teams.
