Well, Finebaum is thrilled, as he now has the main subject to get him through all of next wk. Just the rumor of Kiffen leaving took him through 2 days last wk.

Yea I don't even know who that guy is a fan of, I just know you have a smart, young OC who can both recruit and coach, he's had "the job" and been put back in his place, and is just now old enough to start figuring out what he doesn't know. Plus he has the right boss to force/inspire him to keep improving, the fact that he doesn't "stay with what's working" enough for some of you just shows he's doing something right.

I will be the first to admit that Kiffin gets a little cute with his play calling for my tastes sometimes. Tries to outsmart the defense instead of breaking their will. But he did a fantastic job for us last year. I am excited to see what he can do with everybody in his 2nd season. Every fan base on here is basically the same. A few smart reasonable posters, a few posters who take great joy in causing a little trouble, and the mouth breathers who can't bring anything to a thread but trolling and flaming.

I am happy about this news. I can't wait for a Kiffin/Muschamp and Saban/Malzahn Iron Bowl matchup. Good for the rivalry!
