I think he told moms at breakfast to get him the hell out of there.

McElwain is a solid recruiter. He will do well at UF with a strong set of recruiters around him.

I think McElwain will do fine. Especially once Florida can catch up on facilities.

You really can't expect him to come in and get some great class with the little time he has had. I am sure he has been recruiting kids on the Left coast. Next years class will be a more fair gauge on his recruiting ability, IMO.

I agree, he doesn't have the name to pull a big class, but he should get it together by next year.

I don't. Saban didn't have that great of a class in 2007. The key pieces were already committed to Alabama when he took the job and he missed on most the big targets.

Freeze was working with the same short timeline as McElwain except Freeze didn't have near the talent around MS as Mac does in Florida

I'm not sure what people were really expecting. It can be understated how terrible a HC Muschamp was, not only on the field but in recruiting. He has no idea how to run a program.
Mac has been impressive in his short time at UF and there is potential for UF to have a big NSD. He will do well this year all things considered.

first time ever I can remember them being behind Mizzou in rr, luckily for them they flipped an early MU commit or it would be even worse. Interesting the new coach hasn't gotten any momentum in this area. Seems like they could use a big class too. Not complaining of course, but their rebuilding cycle looks like it's in for a setback.

Freeze had been recruiting kids in the South. Totally different situation.

Muschamp left him with very little to work with. Let's see what happens on NSD, there is enough talent out there for UF to end up with a top 25 class.

I think FSU's success has played a part in this....

UF is very much in it for guys like Francois, Van Jefferson, Jordan Scarlett, Jordan Cronkite, Dinson, Fenton, Callaway, etc.
Really?

He wasn't recruiting the same type of kids to Arkansas State though.

Don't expect an answer. I already asked.

Just from what ive read. I didnt say uf lead or anything. Just said they have a chance. Take a pill.

And all I did was ask if some new info came out since I haven't heard UF mentioned with him since before he committed to UGA. Get your panties unbunched.

Well there is no way to answer this yet. Gotta see who he signs and then discuss it.
