While I don't think KA is the second coming, I do think it's unfair to dismiss him as "only a D-II coach."

KA has (if I recall) about 16 years as a D-I assistant. He was a great D-I player and drafted in the NBA's second round, so he knows the top-level game.

Yes, his last stint was at D-II...where he was in the very top echelon of winning coaches.

No, he hasn't been HC at a D-I school, but I don't think he's quite the "deer in the headlights" coach some seem to think.

Yup, this year's gonna suck...and next year's best hope is 50-50. But I'm giving him until year 3 to be competitive. I keep thinking back to Pinkel's first year.

Sounds good give him 4-5 years... If the program is responding in a positive way keep going if it looks like Quinn Snyders last couple years... Roll him out....

This team won't be at .500 next year either. We have a very long ways to go.

Depends who else they bring in and who stays the course. I think Wright and Gant can be very good players. They need to add strength and work hard on their D.

In reality, he's going to be here for at least 3 to 5 years anyways regardless of how long any fans want to give him. So, myself, I have settled into the mindset that this will be our coach regardless of what I think. I'm still a Mizzou fan. Never the less, still hard to watch.
