Peyton Manning would have looked terrible in that situation, also.

Harris at Auburn was similar.

I'm not just talking about LSU

The issue with 2013 wasn't our Offense

Most people think he will. He is clearly more talented than AJ, but he needs to grow up and learn the offense.

I hope he does because he can stretch the field with his legs and arm better. I don't care if he makes reckless throws if he can also make the 30 yard out route throws to keep the defense from stuffing the box on Fournette.

It was.

Y'all were an above average offense in 2013, not some GOAT bullshite the Rantards believe. Middle of the pack in points and barely above average in yardage.

Damn....my point is with a great D and good O, LSU is going to be dangerous.

Is it that hard to understand?

Your D isn't that "great," either. 41 points to Auburn, 34 to Mississippi State, 24 points to A&M, 20 to Alabama, 27 to Florida

We played ball control, not quick strike. We led the nation in 3rd down conversion % and had the first offense with a 3,000 yard passer, 2 1,000 yard receivers, and 1,000 yard rusher in SEC history. Hill was running at 6.9 a pop and Mett to Jarvis and OBJ was automatic short and intermediate passing game.

Other than the Ole Miss game, where Mett went full retard, we were a dominant offense that marched down the field methodically on most teams while running out clock. Those stats don't tell the full story. That was one of the best offenses in LSU's history.

Our D was pretty good once we benched Welter. I mean, 3rd nationally in scoring, 1st in total defense, and top 5 passing efficiency is nothing to scoff at.

We didn't take over any games and the stats don't tell the whole story I agree, but those point totals don't either because we improved as the year went on (until Chavis mailed it in against ND).

These were bad, bad games pre-Beckwith.

Those two are nothing to be ashamed of IMO. Bama game was in OT and A&M was on the road.

We drove down the field on opening drive and Copeland fumbled into the endzone. Then Mett was gimpy.

Our offense did just fine that game outside of untimely turnovers. We moved the ball just fine.

You moved the ball fine against us that year and had untimely turnovers too.

Mett just threw up hail marys into triple coverage like 10 times. Can't believe he was only intercepted 3 times. That was his worst game by far. Play calling was fine, but Mett kept going for the homerun until we were in too deep of a hole.

I graduated from Ole Miss and from Baton Rouge. I am an LSU fan, always have been and always will be. That game was fricking tough to be in attendance for. My wife, who is from Jackson and also a UM alum, was giving me shite the entire game.

He only had two games with multiple INTs. I'll let you guess who they were against. Our defensive line was also playing out of their minds that game with scrubs

We didn't go deep that much against anyone else.

Mett's bread and butter was short and intermediate routes to OBJ and Jarvis. Those were automatic. He was so damn accurate with those and put em on a rope. That game was infuriating.

Luckily I read further down before replying

You ain't drawing me in either.

IF Harris can improve and learn the O, sky is the limit in this Offense.
