LSU will only have 20 games on TV this year versus 30 last year. Majority of the ones shown will be when LSU plays away.

I mean, its kinda true but it kinda isnt since you can just stream all the other games via ESPN3 on your TV
quote:

All 56 of LSU's regular-season baseball games will be available for viewing, with 20 games on television and online, and the rest streamed online only through the SEC Network and WatchESPN websites.

It sucks Dish dropped CST with the addition of the SECn. Now I won't be able to watch those games.

Yes, but the CST games I don't think are on the watch ESPN site.
So its only 7 games this year, but still. Something to bitch about.

All SEC games are streamable on WatchESPN aka SECN+ so who cares really? With DirecTV now having WatchESPN most everyone can now stream + the bigger games/series on TV.

Since the SEC Network has launched, that dampers LSU's tv coverage because the SEC Network gets rights to all SEC games and all games played at an SEC venue. Whereas in the past, CST, Jumbo Sports, and such would all swoop up to take whatever ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU wouldn't air. But now, if those games aren't on any of the ESPN channels or SECN then it'll be on SECN+.

That now leaves non-conference road games/neutral site games. CST swooped up and petitioned the SEC office for those rare non-conference road games of LSU to be aired on their station. They were approved. Thus, LSU has coverage of every single game now no matter if it's home or away, in-conference or out-of-conference. Sweet deal really. I'll take it!

I would rather be on TV than digital.

I don't believe LSU's non-conference had to petition the SEC when LSU plays away since they own those games. They have the right to sell them to TV.

Kind of surprised it hasn't.

That is good, and as another LSU poster mentioned, its great that every LSU game will be available online, or TV. That's great coverage, for a growing sport.
