Does Sumlin hold Chief to a different standard than Miles did?

All we heard was that Chavis didn't recruit, yet he's been recruiting his arse off all over Texas and the southeastern US since he was hired. Is Sumlin working him harder than Les, or is he just finally applying himself because he's at a university and with a staff that inspires him?

Who knows, maybe he's got a new job and is excited to get out there. Maybe that attitude will stick around or he might get settled in and chill like he did the last several years at LSU.

Maybe he doesn't trust your staff to recruit and feels if he wants it done right he has to do it himself. That's why he didn't recruit at LSU, he knew it would get done. At A&M, not so much.

No, Miles required his team to be in contention for a national championship every year...That's obviously not a requirement for A&M.
