1. CUM was more successful at non P5 schools
2. Won conference and not gifted into title game while in SEC
3. Won title despite vastly inferior athletes in region
4. Doesn't wear lifts in shoes
5. CUM wins bowl games
6. Better Big 10 based on championships percentage/year

CUM is a 10, Saban a 6

It appears you favor CUM.

Idk... they're both 2 and 2 vs eachother.

We'll see eventually, though. In the long term Meyer's record will slide some. And Saban's championships aren't done. So, it all depends on how you define how much better you think one is tahn the other.

I vote Saban.

Why don't you go wipe the CUM off your chin?

Saban has won 4 title games; Meyer has only won 3 title games. Therefore, Saban > Meyer.

So this is like a huge victory for LSU huh? Theres a bunch of threads on it. You can now call Bama's coach only second best. That's something worth celebrating. Congratulations

It's gonna suck to wait a whole third year to get back to the national title. Ugh.

Saban had 1 season in this situation at Toledo and went 9-2. Their 2 loses were by a combined 5 points.

Well at the end of 08 the Rant said Meyer was better

09 - whoops

2010 - Chizik and Miles are better

2011 - whoops

2012 - lol

2013 - Malzahn is better

2014 - whoops

So... I think I can see clearly and the case is not closed. We'll see.

I wonder what Urban's record would be had he played as many years in the SEC.... most of which were during what is widely considered the best era of ANY conference in college football history.

Again. Saban only had one season at a non-P5 school, Urban had what 4 or 5?
