LSU rose first in the early 2000's, and Bama soon followed behind them and they dominated. LSU is now falling faster than a Disney teenager that hits her 16th birthday. Alabama, who rose after LSU, loses to what turned out to be an overrated Ole Miss team. Barely sqeaks a 14-13 win out over last place Arkansas(and were nearly doubled in total offense by the Hogs). They also have now lost two bowls in a row.

So, the decline that LSU has been witnessing its team suffer appears to also be in its early stages at Alabama.

2016-2020 West rankings are looking more like they will be more like this.

Arkansas
Auburn
Miss St
Texas A&M
Alabama
LSU
Ole Miss

Definitely a trend. That aura of invincibility has eroded for Bama. First, Big Game Bob, then the Urban. As for LSU, they never quite had that aura anyway.

I'd move aubbie further down that list for your rankings. Gus' smoke and mirrors act is aging quickly.

I don't think iPhones existed the last time we lost to Arkansas.

Is Bama losing it's best coaches to divisional opponents?

I hear that's the first sign of decline

It must be unprecedented to win the conference, including a 30 point win in the title game, in the midst of decline.

LSU has been declining since 2008, so apparently it's a prerequisite for #tdecline.

It's getting pretty ridiculous only winning 11-12 games a year right now, I hope we stop the decline soon and return to glory.

Feel like it is about time to blow it up and start over.

Only Bama haters can convince themselves that a team in a rebuilding year, that won a conference championship and went to the playoffs is on a slide.

I think Nick is losing his edge. Losing to Stoops started it. Then, the Kiffin hiring was a head-scratcher, a total 180 from Saban football.
He's aging, too. Not the same coach.

How much production is Bama losing?

Sims
Yeldon
Cooper
Collins
