just curious... this is a great study in human psychology... all the teams that got hyped and praised for 3 weeks lost and the teams who were told they suck or didn't have a chance for 3 weeks won... very interesting.. However, I'd take a season where we actually won our bowl game than to play all year and get embarrassed and choke when it mattered to end my season, lmbo.

the west is just happy to make a bowl and lose

MORAL VICTORIES

Not at all, but I will take winning the SEC title and a loss in the semi finals over losing the sec title and winning the tax slayer bowl.

Take what you want but every single SEC West team can beat the shite out of the Vols

That isn't saying much because most of the East can beat the shite out of the Vols too.

How is this not a response thread?

Love the responses in other threads talking about how they have "no idea what bowls the SECe played in" and using Vandy and UK as excuses for their own futility, etc. They put themselves on a pedestal during the season, and after they all fell off, that is the jibberish that is coming out of their mouths. It's embarrassing.

it really is sad. Very embarrasing to our conf on a national scale, and now grasping for straws trying to rationalize why they lost

I'd take 12-2 SEC champs with a bowl loss over 7-6. But keep that Taxslayer Bowl trophy polished.

Since LSU scored a TD that wasn't counted and we lost by 3...I think we won. FBI probe: [on] off.

And we might get Mike Stoops as DC...so we got that goin' for us...which is nice.

UT has been embarrassing the conference and the Big 6 for years. How does winning a shite bowl game change that?

Starting to get the feeling that there are more than a few who can dish it out for over a year and half (for some even longer than that) but can't take it.

Props to those who never engaged in it and/or are approaching it all from an honest standpoint.

Yeah I bet any UT fan would take a win over UA, UGA, and UF in one season and drop their shite bowl game in a minute, but then many get excited now by just beating Vandy and Kentucky.

And yes SEC Champs proving the east sucks, beat AU, beat LSU, and beat UT. Freaking outstanding season for a UA fan
