Caps cuz it draws attention.

Season starts September 5th.

Wisconsin (Cowboys Classic)
Middle Tennessee
Ole Miss
Louisiana-Monroe
@Georgia
Arkansas
@Texas A&M
Tennessee
BYE
LSU
@Mississippi State
Charleston Southern
@Auburn

First, a few thoughts:

- Every SEC team we play other than Auburn and Mississippi State will be better next year, imo.

- Of our 4 road games, two of them are to the teams I mentioned above. That is good for us. But @Georgia and @A&M are potential slip ups. I think we can survive @Georgia because our run D should be the nation's best once again. Our pass D should be much improved, but A&M could give us problems.

- This is gonna be a tough schedule, but at the same time it lines up perfectly for us. Getting some of those teams at home is huge, and we have a BYE before LSU.

I've talked about the 15 team so many times that you all know how good I think it'll be. Now then, I think this team can win a championship. Of course that is subject to change, but right now I like our chances.

Wisconsin will be a good team, and Clement will be one of the nation's best RBs. But their offense plays right into our hands. Maybe they'll try to mix it up to beat us, but I think coming off of the Sugar Bowl, this defense is gonna dominate Wisconsin. I think the O comes out guns blazing, Henry and Drake both go over 100. I could really see us winning by a solid margin.

Arkansas will be better, but we get them at home and again, their offense plays right into what we do.

We could lose a number of those games, but the biggest concerns have gotta be @A&M and @Auburn, in my opinion. I know I said Auburn may not be quite as good, but it is still the Iron Bowl and by then a young AU offense will have it figured out.

Tennessee is my early pick for 2nd in the East (behind UF) next season, but I think BDS will be rocking, especially for a good Viles team.

WAY TOO EARLY AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE PREDICTION: 11-1

We have some real question marks at WR, QB, OL, LB, and in the secondary.

I'll play it safe and say 10-2. Could just as easily be 8-4 or 12-0 though.

Also, interested in what everyone predicted (if they can remember) before each season (other than 07) of the Saban era.

08: 9-3
09: 14-0 and a Title (got it)
10: 11-2
11: 14-0 and a Title (half got it)
12: 13-1 and a Title (boom)
13: 14-0 and a title
14. 11-2 (had the losses right)

I can't see us losing 3 games with what we return on D. The expectation should be a '08, '09, or '11 caliber defense. Offense won't be as good, but overall I think we have a better team than '14 on paper. Ultimately it'll come down to intangibles like leadership, chemistry, attitude, etc

I also want the Coaching to improve. Playcalling spoiled the Ohio State game pretty quickly.

Agreed. The D returns too much, especially if Ragland comes back. Scott backs offenses up, and then the D locks em down. Gives the O a consistently short field to work with.

I'm pretty confident in our chances in all those games next season. If we can win 13 games with the team we had this season we can go undefeated with a better defense.

I'm not saying it as great, but other than running Henry more, what do you think we should have done differently?

Taking shorter gains in general, relieving the defense for at least a few more minutes.

That is one of the gripes I had with Blake. He didn't take the checkdown and he wouldn't throw the ball away when nothing was there.

they lose a lot of seniors. This team will not be anywhere close to their 14 team.

They will still have Dak and Bama always played terrible in Starkville the last few trips there. LSU hangover game.
