If you just look at the major 5 conferences, only the Pac12 will have a better win %

SEC still did better than the BigTen, Big12, and ACC.

So even in the worst year anybody can remember in ages, still not that terrible.

.500 in bowl games is the expected result assuming roughly equal matchups in the games.

0-5 in the BCS/New Years Six bowls the last two bowl seasons (last year and this year) is what matters.

Who voted you in charge of what matters? If you're honestly a Nebraska fan, then you ain't got shite to say about it, junior.

It just continues to prove that the SEC is all about depth now. A few years ago you had LSU and Alabama setting the bar with a class of their own.

Now you have a bunch of above average teams. Thats why we are winning every single bowl game against other conference's average teams, but losing to their best.

Correct, the perception is that the SEC sucked and it's an accurate one, we did suck.

But our suck is still good for #2 overall.

Besides, when the SEC was winning national championships the knock was "Yeah the SEC is good at the top, but the rest sucks"

Now the SEC doesn't have elite national championship teams, that's the knock, but stats indicate the conference is pretty deep in terms of good teams.

Clearly, those are no longer important. All that matters is the MNC's won in the past.

Imagine a world where we played 9 conference games. tLandmass schools likely wouldn't have been representing the conference in such significant bowls. That's pretty much what bowl season boils down to for the SEC this year.

And the response was "Our bottom feeders would win any other conference".

That doesn't make any sense and is completely irrelevant to any prior discussion we were having.

Ohio State finally wins a game and can't handle it.

No team has been embarrassed on the National State more in the past 15 years then the Buckeyes. Hopefully you don't need a phantom pass interference call to win next week.

This is some quality spin right here. You should teach a class.

Yeah but all the wins came from the conference's garbage teams that no one cares about

I shouldn't be surprised a UGA fan wouldn't know what a national stage is.

2-1 in the Sugar Bowl, no we have no idea.

We don't claim anything we don't have. Georgia fans just tell it like it is.
