Throw out the records, throw out the divisions, if you just had to list 1-14 the quality of the teams this year simply by "who was the best team", how would you rank em for 2014?

1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Mississippi State
4. Ole Miss
5. Auburn
6. Missouri
7. Arkansas
8. LSU
9. Texas A&M
10. Tennessee
11. South Carolina
12. Florida
13. Kentucky
14. Vanderbilt

Hate to say it but Arkansas might have been playing the best ball at the end of the year. I think I would slide Auburn down a couple spots due to our defense regressing so badly during the season.

You should put A&M at #1 because they hired Chavis before the 2014 season was officially over, thus vaulting them to now be the greatest team of all time.

Actually, you should put Arkansas at #1 because they won their bowl game and they are all excited with going 7-6. Either one of them, really, should be #1.

Mizzou 6th is too low. And behind the Mississippi schools that got blown out? No way.

I'd have put LSU #9 behind South Carolina, but the list is spot on overall.

No way TAMU at 9. Need to be higher. Not below Arkansas.
