.... about being one of the most underachieving programs out there given the talent they are able to bring into Athens.

However, can we all give a round of applause or at least, admire the work that Tennessee has been able to do the last decade.

Has there been a more underachieving program in the history of college football for a decade stretch then the tear that they are on right now.

It's a shite show over there and when will it end?

It's been a real accomplishment from being an SEC power to what they are today. They are irrelevant.

I am thoroughly convinced their decade of wandering in the desert is a direct result of universal schadenfreude from giving bammers such a hard time circa 1997-2004 especially with the whole Albert Means thing. Volchat was a disgusting collection of assholes.

Tennessee probably overachieved in the first place. Charlie Strong turned down the Tennessee job to stay at Louisville. That is all you need to know about their potential

Underachieving- to achieve less than expected or achieve less than your potential.

First half of the decade, everyone expected Tennessee to still be a good program, to make trips to Atlanta. That they have not.

Second half of the decade, their ever constant top 15 recruiting classes have landed them in the bottom 3/4ths of college football.

I'd say underachieving is just about right.

not at all, it's good to see you understand the word, but just don't know when to apply it.

How can you say Tennessee is not underachieving?

They constantly bring in a ton of talent and never do anything with it. LIKE LITERALLY NOTHING.

Wut?

They have three conference titles, have two undefeated seasons, won a national title, and played for another national title all within the last 11 years.
