You are MUCH better off in P'cola... in all my military travels around the Great Lakes region, Ohio was BY FAR the darkest, most dreary of any Great Lakes state. Doom and gloom in Ohio, compared to the majestic beauty of Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. Sad, sad state Ohio.

Why ruin a thread that had good discussion potential? Showing immaturity while claiming some type of intellectual superiority was just proving your own ignorance. But you are representative of that fanbase. Again, good luck next week since this is the last we will see of you.

I thought so. Grammatical error humor is the third highest form of humor, after all.

The one stat , that clearly is a misnomer is the signature wins. It shows wins against teams as they were ranked. FSU can't get credit for a win against # 5 ND who clearly isn't. And giving Bama credit for ranked wins over A&M., who isn't.

Better to look at the end what ranked teams were beaten. The TO margin is huge, And the most impressive wins by any playoff team belong to OSU. beating Wisky and MSU the way the did.

The dickless OSU poster aside, OP's post was solid.

Probably couldn't get four teams as diverse in terms of strengths and weaknesses as these. Ohio State probably has the biggest mountain to climb with the 3rd-string QB and a defense that really isn't as prolific as one may think.

Teams that play good defense, run the ball, and take care of the ball usually are the safest bets, and yet, none of the four does those three things things better than the other summed up.

No LSU beat Wisky once Gordon and their 2 best DL got hurt. Before that LSU was in deep trouble.

LSU sucks. Lost 30-0 to arky and 41-7 to auburn. They were beat silly by MSU and got some garbage touchdowns late. They were horrible on defense early in the season and horrible on offense all year.

If you think the Big 10 is better than the Big 12 then you are dumb as a rock.

The difference isn't nearly as wide as you make it sound. There are two or three good teams at the top of each conference, shite at the bottom, and mediocrity in between. Kansas and Iowa State are pure, steaming shite. And the problem with the Big 12 and their whole "we play everybody" mantra, is that teams like TCU and Baylor get to play every one of the shitty teams in the conference every year. OSU's two cross divisional games were against teams .500 or better.

at the time of your post Illinois had lost to La Tech and is now 6-7.

Iowa st beat Iowa AT Iowa. the conferences are, in fact, not close. I grew up in Champaign Illinois, I follow the big 10 as well as the big 12. seriously, Ohio St is miles ahead of the rest of the big 10, but the rest of the conference is (ok mich st is decent) so ungodly awful that it really doesnt mean anything. Ohio st lost AT HOME to VIRGINIA TECH. The big 10 conference's best win this entire year was indiana beating mizzou.

none of the "good" big 10 teams won games against legit top 25 teams in non-conference.

Baylor played SMU, Northwestern St, and Buffalo. That alone makes them irrelevant, and is a big reason they are watching the top four play instead of participating. WVU is another reason. So is the Big 12. The conference's best win was what, Oklahoma beating Tennessee?

Keep waiting. I don't need next week like Baylor does. Ohio State will always be relevant. Baylor is getting their 15 minutes before going back where they belong. If you can survive the UCF arse beating and stick around, I'm OK with a loss to the #1 team in the country.
