Gee, it seems like 7 straight number one recruiting classes is a solid way to make sure you have no holes in your roster after early departures. I wonder if there's a team in college football that meets that criteria?

Another thing is Bama keeps players around that have no business in college anymore. For instance, why in GOD'S name is Reggie Ragland coming back next year?!? He's an NFL player. Period. But we all know he would be taking a paycut if he jumped this year.

Holy frick. This is the LSU excuse now on why Alabama is better. Somehow we are forcing these guys to stay in college. Saban has always told his players if you are going first round go, if not come back and try and improve your draft position.

Sorry our players get better advice. How bad does your team suck when guys are leaving early to go undrafted??

Saban is selling those guys a line of crap. First round talent is first round talent. NFL coaches don't care how polished a player is coming out of college. It's all about potential.

That's like saying why did Auburn lose 4 games this year with all that talent and their Offensive minded coach. Because they do not have no dam defense. It cost them last year as well. So quit being stupid and act like a Bama fan that has some football sense!!!!

The defense was a disaster.

Les is a Michigan man and we all know where CC went to school. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone to hear him taking shots at a rival. If Les hears about this you can bet your arse he'll be firing right back real soon though.

That will show em.

frick winning it all with that much talent.

"How did Les Miles not win every game?"

This goes a long way to explain it:

List of 2013 NFL draft early entrants:

Chris Faulk OT LSU
Michael Ford RB LSU
Bennie Logan DT LSU Philadelphia 67
Tyrann Mathieu DB LSU Arizona 69
Barkevious Mingo DE LSU Cleveland 6
Kevin Minter LB LSU Arizona 45

Sam Montgomery DE LSU Houston 95
Eric Reid S LSU San Francisco 18
Tharold Simon CB LSU Seattle 138
Spencer Ware RB LSU Seattle 194
Brad Wing P LSU

[throw in graduating SR DE, Lavar Edwards drafted in the 5th rd by the Titans]]

At the time everyone was saying LSU would feel the effects of all the JRs leaving early, and sure enough they did in 2013. It's odd how people just forget what a hit that was - especially to the defense.

What? He has a top 5 win% in sec history and the #1 ooc win% ij sec history. How has a shite coach dominated Miss st to the tune of 9-1?

I didn't say he was a shite coach. He's far from a shite coach. I said he's not that good of a coach. I think he's one of the classiest coaches in college football from what I can tell... But (IMO) with LSU being the only big football university in the state & having all that talent year in year out, I feel y'all should be like on Alabama's level or something.. A contending top 5 team every year... Not getting beat by Arkansas & Ole Miss's back-ups, etc. That's just my honest opinion, not trying to hate on the man.
