How I see the SEC East heading into the off-season

Obviously things will change after the ink is dried for the 2015 class, attrition (legal issues), etc, etc.
1: TN - yes I am picking TN to win the SEC East even with having a lack of confidence in this pick. I decided to go with TN since there isn't any other team in this division that I feel is head and shoulder above the rest and TN appears to have more potential grow as a team then Missouri or Georgia. If the OL is as bad next season as it was this season I will be laughing at myself for making this pick.
2: Georgia - While they will have new coaches on offense, they still have enough fire power at the RB spot to carry the team no matter who the new coaches are on offense.
3: Missouri - I decided not to place them first since I just on't know how much better they will be on offense and how their DL is going to be next year.
4: They have some talent but will need time to become a powerful program again...that is assuming McElwain doesn't become a failure.
5: KY - they are getting better but do not have enough talent or good enough line play on either side of the ball to be a legit threat.
6: South Carolina - this program is starting to fall apart as it nears the end of the Steve S. era. Steve "announcing" a 4-5 year plan isn't going to stop the bleeding. That is a simple PR move to try and keep recruits from jumping ship.
7: Vandy - even the SEC NEtwork may not want to air their games.

Vols will be pretty solid but the o-line will prevent us from winning more than 8 imo.
I just don't see it being improved enough to beat quality opponents.

As much as I hope you're right, I'm afraid we're another year away. Plus, I won't ever pick us to beat Florida until we actually beat Florida

Pretty much my feeling as well. If our line is even mediocre, we win 8 games easily, but they need to be good for us to win the East and I just don't see it.

1) Mizzou-Pinkel is the best coach in the SEC East right now
2) UGA-Most talented team in the East. Chubb will be a beast
3) Tennessee-On the upswing and will win 8 games next year IMO
4) Florida-McElwain is good enough to take advantage of some great talent. They will be fine
5) UK-Another solid recruiting class coming in and they hired a pretty damn good OC in the offseason. Cats will be bowling next year
6) USCe-Spurrier is starting to lose his edge and I think next year will be his last
7) Vandy-enough said.

Don't sell the Gators short, they have talent and now they have a coach that will use it. They won't stumble through the season without a clue on offense.
That inexperience at QB won't be a killer for Coach Mac, he's great at developing QBs.

I see the Vols at 3rd or 4th in 2015 in the east.

UGA/Mizzou
Everyone else until they prove otherwise. Sure as frick wouldn't pick TN with their Special Ed HC and unproven talent.

He has won the East two of the three years he has coached in it. Name a better coach in the East RIGHT NOW than Gary Pinkel.

Gary wants that SEC Championship badly. It's the one thing missing from an otherwise impressive career.
Maty gets his shite together, we will have someone to catch the ball and Beckner will be the next Ray.

1. Missouri
2. Georgia
3. Florida
4. Tennessee
5. Kentucky
6. South Carolina
7. Vanderbilt
I won't pick anyone but Missouri to win the East until someone else proves they can. I know it's been two years now that they've lost to the #2 team in the East and still gotten in, but it doesn't matter, they've found a way to do it two years in a row despite whatever anybody might think on paper.
Georgia will still be there, Florida and Tennessee will be solid, Kentucky goes bowling, SC and Vandy are dead in the water.

Since 2000 SEC east championship game records
UF 3-1
uga 2-3
Scar 0-1
Missouri 0-2
Tenn 0-3
Even though we've been down since 2010 we're still your daddy, and mizzou great job the past two seasons, but you might want to take better advantage of UF being down and win you one, cause when UF come back you'll be playing for 2nd in the east more times than not.

Why was that statement funny? Pinkel is far and away the best coach in the east given the players he has to work with. Of course that is not saying much considering most of the east coaches suck

It's beginning to appear that every team but Missouri is trying to get second place so they won't have to be in the SECCG.
