It's a great story, but I mean, torn up knees aren't exactly that uncommon anymore.

Yeah, just thought about my post and decided you're right, this Josey story aint exactly "Brian's Song" material yet, but when Josey wins NFL Player of the Year and helps Minny win a Super Bowl we're gonna revisit this post.

I don't know about movie time, but his injury wasn't just some torn up knee. He basically had nothing left holding his knee in place. To be able to not only return to his prior level but to get better is truly amazing.
I had my ACL and MCL reconstructed at one time and yeah, sure I could go back out and play hoops but only at the old man's level at the church league.
