Geez. What have these guys done lately to get so delusional?

I've watched a bunch of the other teams, none impress other than UK obviously. as a LSU fans, I have a hard time saying LSU can't finish second in the conference this year

quote:

I still think Florida is 2, they've just played a much tougher OOC than anyone else to this point. But I don't see anyone else that LSU could not compete with day in and day out if they played their best and LSU played their best.

quote:

IMHO we are all grossly underestimating this teams ability. We play Kentucky at home don't be surprised if we upset them. I'm not saying we are as good as Kentucky But we are a very good team ! Wow what a job Johny Jones has done what a great coach!

quote:

I agree that 11-7 is a benchmark but I don't think 13-5 and 14-4 is out the realm of possibility

quote:

None taken, I enjoy it to. Look, Tennessee made it in last year at 11-7 and 20-11 with one SEC tourney win and only one OOC victory of note against Virginia. Let's say our losses are Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Bama. We're in.

I can't wait to watch their dreams come crashing down in conference play.

Their tears will be so delicious.. if they even act like they field a hoops team once they start to disappoint

One thing I have learned from the board, LSU fans are very very dumb when it comes to college basketball.

They think losses work the same way as in football.

I'm not sure that WVU win will look as good a month from now once they start Big12 play.

They were also ready to fire Jones a month ago.

They are not the only fanbase to think this.

A melt still continues over the Clemson loss on other boards and by some posters here.

As if you would want your team to be at their peak in December and as if nothing was to be learned from a loss.

If you notice, MA is trying to get Durahm and Beard ready for heavy minutes in conference play as it will correct a majority of the problem that has kept reoccurring the past 4 years.

There is plenty of ugly basketball being played.

Some think/call it "great defense", but the reality is its coaches who do not allow their teams to play on the offensive end, instead they run lame predictable sets to try and get the couple of shooters they do have shots, if they shots aren't there or don't fall low scores result, not the results of defense being played.

The score doesn't tell the tale if you will. Anytime your sets involve having to have 2-3 men in place for a rebound before a shot is taken says worlds about your belief in your sets and your player's shooting ability.

Never have I seen a more manic depressive bunch of fans. Did they win? They can beat Michael Jordan and the Bulls in their prime!

Did they lose? We are horrible, we'll never win another game... shut the program down!

It isn't just basketball though. It is every single sport. No wonder they drink so much.
