Grant is one of Top 25 paid coaches in America and UA has given him everything he wanted relative to facilities as well. I honestly thought we would have better results with Grant but it hasn't come to fruition.

If you're Bill Battle who is on your list?

Disclaimer: I've already heard Gruden isn't interested.

Tubby Smith, might be a little old, but he's an upgrade for sure. I have no idea why Minnesota got rid of him.

If we do fire Grant, I'm sure Battle would settle for a guy like Steve Prohm because of his connections to Bama.

I don't know if you're trolling or if you haven't watched Alabama play basketball the past several years.

I've watched Alabama play. Very good defensive team but lack a lot on the offensive end. If y'all could have head on the Trevor Lacey who is balling right now for former Tide coach Gottfried at NCState, you would be a lot better.

As for coach, I assume y'all would make a stab at Shaka Smart. He makes $1.5mil right now though. Can y'all top that?

John Gotti is dead. Why would he melt?

We have a much improved offense this year. People are overreacting to the Wichita St loss, which was ugly and a loss consistent with how we've lost a bunch of other games under Grant.

I think we're a tournament team, and if we make the tournament Grant will be back next year.

If he's let go, I don't see Smart taking the job as he and Grant are really good friends.

Smart has turned down really good jobs. He wouldn't even entertain a call from Bama.

I think Richard Pitino would be a good hire.

I'm sure Battle will go the route they did the women's team did a few years ago. Just hire some guy down the hall for cheap. Battle is only about some monetary balance sheet and will not put in anything that may cost Bama money. That's why we kept f ing Grant this year.

Maybe we could go after Butler's or Gonzaga's or Wichita State's coach.
