She is a provost at Stanford. Would help the university dramatically with recruitment of great students and recruit employers.
Would open a lot more doors for the university.

Weird that she is even in the position of having to accept someone so bad that it requires approval from someone outside the AD. I've read so many times about how Bama doesn't recruit thugs and outcasts. Pettway, Flournoy-Smith and now Taylor kind of blows up that logic.

There have been rumors, mostly from liberals about her sexuality, but she's never said she was gay. She was engaged years ago.
