The Titans will take Cooper or an edge rusher like Randy Gregory. We have a solid group of receivers but no true number one.

Mett to Coop for the foreseeable future.

The Tennessee Titans defense is atrocious. They better draft a player to change that.

I really hope they go this way. I just don't want another OL or Winston.

I actually think they are fine at WR for the foreseeable future. I'm not sold on Mett yet, but I am fine with giving him next season a go.

1st team AA, majority of draft evaluators think he is a top 10 pick.

As amazing as Cooper is, I think you have to build your team starting with the OL and the defense. Look at the teams around the league that have success. The Seahawks and Patriots have mediocre receiving corps. Then you look at teams like the Bears, Falcons, and Bucs who have amazing skills players but either can't protect them or can't stop anyone.

I think value wise, especially with the athletes coming out of college football, it is much easier to get 80% of Amari Cooper than it is to get a top notch defensive player, especially with the way penalties are being called today.

Hell, look at the Cowboys. How long have they had Dez Bryant and Tony Romo? It wasn't until they finally solidified their OL they got on track and their defense still isn't great, but it isn't all time bad like it was. After the addition of Rolando McClain and some of their draft picks.

Oh yeah Doug Martin and Mark Ingram are really lighting the league on fire

Have never been a huge Ingram fan, but he's likely going to break 1000 yards this year in an extremely pass-first offense. Late first round pick, Brees at the helm, 1000 yards from him when he splits time with 2 other backs...not too shabby

3 Le'Veon Bell, RB 2nd
4 Marshawn Lynch, RB 1st
5 LeSean McCoy, RB 2nd
6 Justin Forsett, RB 7th
7 Mark Ingram, RB 1st
8 Jamaal Charles, RB 3rd
9 Alfred Morris, RB 6th
10 Eddie Lacy, RB 2nd

Here are the RBs taken in the first round in the last 10 years who did not make that list:
2012
Trent Richardson - horrible
Doug Martin - horrible
David Wilson - can't stay healthy
2010
CJ Spiller - can't stay healthy and unimpressive when healthy
Ryan Mathews - decent but always hurt
Jahvid Best - retired due to injury after 3 seasons
2009
Knowshon Moreno - had 1 or 2 good years (09, 13)
Donald Brown - sucks
Beanie Wells - sucks
2008
Darren McFadden - can't stay healthy, never lived up to potential
Felix Jones - horrible
Rashard Mendenhall - 2 good seasons, now irrelevant
Chris Johnson - really good for the Titans
2007
Adrian Peterson - GOAT but might be retiring
2006
Reggie Bush - horrible early, never played like a first round worthy back
Laurence Maroney - LOL
DeAngelo Williams - had a couple good seasons, then got paid and went to shite
Joseph Addai - 2 decent seasons
2005
Ronnie Brown - a couple decent seasons, didn't live up to hype
Cedric Benson - LOL
Cadillac Williams - ROY then went to shite

That's the thing though, this is exactly what they have done. They've gone OL in the top 10 the past 2 seasons and signed Oher. It was supposed to be the strength of the team this year.

I know, that's why I think they go with defense. With Oher, Lewan, and Warmack as the building blocks, I think they can now focus on the other side of the ball too.

I'm not a huge NFL guy, but IMO there is something to be said for the fact that the Patriots could take former second round pick Akeem Ayers and immediately turn him into a productive player while he didn't do anything while on the Titans. It really says something about their player development.

The saints only average 3 more passes per game than rushes.

when he splits time with 2 other backs
Ingram has 132 more carries than the 2nd back on the team.

He's had a pretty good season. But so have other players drafted in way later rounds. Lamar Miller for example has only 40 less yards on 20 less carries.

No way in hell that if Gurley is there at 29 that Dallas wouldn't have taken him before then. Dallas takes Gurley so they don't have to invest long-term into Murray

He will be a bust just like his counter parts at that position in recent years. See

Not to mention he missed like 4 games due to hand injury. If he'd have played in those games he may be on his way to 1,300 yards based on his YPG average.
