fire the coach and accept NIT to let kids play more games. then let someone be the interim while looking for a coach. Football does it all the time while prepping for a bowl game

I dont see how Arkansas could be considered better when we almost won with Grant as HC.

By this logic, Ole Miss is more talented than UK because they almost won in Rupp with Andy Kennedy as coach. Can't judge talent on a one game basis.

LSU beat us, but it was always close.

Did you even watch that game? LSU got out to a 17 point lead early in the 2nd half and other than that one run we made later in the 2nd half they pretty much led us by double digits the entire game.

Arkansas and LSU have a better starting five mainly because they both have a couple of NBA (or at least NBA fringe) players that make enough of the type plays to win tight games. Like when we played both of them.

I know it's almost sacrilegious to compliment Grant but some games like Arkansas and Wichita St in very tough away venues we made nail biters without necessarily just relying on talent alone.

I think we do fare better than almost anyone in the SEC in bench strength but you could take a few of those good depth players off our squad and simply add a Portis or Mickey and I think we're easily in the tourney.

However, it's almost beating a dead horse to keep saying that even a fringe all-SEC difference maker in the paint has been the huge Grant shortcoming.

Just saw a post on Facebook reminding me to be there tomorrow for senior night. It reminded me how excited I was when we signed Randolph, and how disappointed I am as he prepares to play his last game at Coleman. He deserved better than the past four years have dealt him. Just like Releford before him. The players all deserve better.

I was hoping Randolph would have been more of a vocal leader.

From being a top 10 class in the country in 2011 to getting blown out on senior night, it's been downhill from the start for these guys.

I know this is random, but I've always wondered, what does your sig pic mean?

It's what the group of idiots from the show Scrubs called themselves. It was a joke on the quality of our staff.

This loss now drops Alabama to 11-62 against the RPI top 50 in Grant's tenure and 3-39 in the last 3 years.

I was sitting a few rows behind the Bama bench tonight. When Ole Miss was on that run in the 2nd half, I saw Tarrant who was sitting on the back row of chairs hold up his hands to make the TO signal as if to say, "now would be an excellent time for a TO". We didn't call one, turned it over a couple seconds later and Ole Miss hit a 3 to go up 9. Then CAG called the TO. Appears even our players have a better handle on certain aspects of this coaching thing than CAG.

Hard to blame the fans. It was a 6:00 tipoff and there is zero excitement/energy surrounding the program.

Fans have shown more support for this basketball program than it deserved.

If if and buts were candy and nuts, wed all have a merry Christmas.

Was unaware that Grant was prohibited from recruiting Portis or Mickey...

Did anyone notice last night in the waning minutes, while we were down 6 - 8 points, that it appeared Ole Miss was in more of a hurry to score than was Bama?

would not hurt my feelings if they did it and let someone else coach the SEC tourney. I am start to conclude that NS likes AG and the way he does things the right way and is probably in his corner with BB

Disagree, I don't think Nick wants to take recruits to games and keep losing.
