Honestly I would spend a first round pick on him.

@YFBurnna_cmh: I said I have to do what's best for my family so that don't mean I'm going pro or coming back yet ??

He was clearly talking about making plans with his family for Christmas dinner or something

Wont matter. We just need to score a safety and we will win every game. We will be the first defense in NCAA history to not allow a point all season.

You went back in time and didn't pick the 1914 team that outscored opponents 193-0 ?

He gone... Good for him.. I can't remember seeing a player snatch a ball out of the air like Duke... If he stays healthy in the league, he will be fun to watch for many years...

i think if Duke was sure he would have announced already, maybe it`s wishful thinking and his financial situation may dictate a lot but i`m holding out hope..we have the home schedule next year and the difference he makes in our offense can`t be understated.

I think what is causing him to hesitate is having JJ at QB. I guess he thinks he might get early first round draft pick if he plays 1 more season. Kinda risky but he knows what he is capable of.

Most guys wait till after the bowl game. How he does there could have a pretty big impact in terms of ending the game on two straight solid games. Also, he hasn't gotten his draft grade either.

More than likely, he is negotiating his extended stay benefits

He knows the draft is stacked with WR this year

Why do people keep saying this? It isn't even remotely true. In fact, last year's class shits on this one. Amari Cooper would have been the 3rd best talent in last year's draft behind Watkins and Evans, and if you account Beckham Jr's showing this year, Cooper may be behind him as well. There is really nothing special about this year's class. The reality is that with the draft becoming an event dominated by Juniors, a position like WR is never going to be "weak"...especially once you account for the fact that more and more collegiate teams are running spread-type offenses which allow for receivers to stand out. Go look at the caliber of talent that is draft eligible in next year's class and you'll see that this class is fairly ordinary.

No need to worry. This is just how contract negotiations work.

As Auburn fans, we need to expect guys to step up more. We dwell too much on returning talent and place high expectations on the players only to be disappointed, i.e. Coates, Lawson, and NM to an extent.

Duke can move on, it's what we need. When voids are created by departing talent, it creates room for players such as Davis and Ray to step up. This is what happened with Coates going into 2013.

When Muschamp and Lawson are in action next season, we cannot expect them to turn our defense into world beaters right outta the gate. There's a solid chance it'll take time for good things to develop.

Where did I say that he wouldn't be? He'll be the first receiver drafted this year. He'd be the ~3rd-4th receiver taken had you somehow transported this year's Cooper into last year's class, therefore how can you state that this year's receiver class is supposedly so "strong" when the top guy would have been at best 3rd or 4th last year?

Do you get what I'm saying? There is nothing special about this year's class, and that includes Cooper who wouldn't even be the top receiver in most draft classes.
