The OU board thread says they're backing off Barnett as well and that it's an academic issue. They may or may not still take him and he's likely headed to Neb. Either way, wasn't a fit for us for any of those possible reasons.

Sounds plausible, but some say it has nothing to do with academics. I'm not sure what's up.

Basically if A&M offered (again) then he'd jump on it. We're content with the OTs we have. He likely end up being a guard in our system anyway.

Good prospect, but we only have a few spots left and already have an excellent o-line haul in this class. We've got bigger needs at DB, LB, RB and WR to fill.
