The first half showed some promise. They played pretty well and Elon couldn't buy a bucket. Reversed the roles in the 2nd half.

And there were about 50 students in the stands and maybe 2000 total from what I could see.

I missed the 1st half. Flipped stations and literally watched Elon making a push with a chance to take the lead. Couldn't believe my eyes. My son asked me if we were going to lose to a cosmetology school. Told him no, that's Avon. Elon is Avon's little sister.

Just win baby. Win and put a good product on the court and people will show up. Hard to fault people for not going to these games. Maybe I'm a shitty fan, but even if I lived in Columbia and had a free night and had the option of watching this Mizzou team play a team like Elon or watching a solid high school game, I'd probably choose the high school game. Hopefully that will change in a year or 10.
