What is the minimum we should expect for next year?, what will constitute a good season? what should be unnacceptable?

We will still be young and our offensive line will still be relatively inexperienced. I would say that if we don't win more than 7 it will be a disappointment. 2016 will be the year to watch.

I agree that 8 wins should be the baseline for next year, no more excuses, just win.

8 is what I have been thinking as well and really I dont expect more than that, but after everything we have been through 8-4 will feel like a national championship anyways. Would be our best season since 2007

Sheeeeeiiiiiiittttttt, I'm demanding 15. No one wants to lose in the national champ game, that's reserved for Auburn

If we only win 7 next year I'm off the butch bandwagon. The way I see it is we have 5 guarenteed wins against the 3 cupcakes, vandy, and Kentucky. That leaves us with needing to win 3 of the other 7 games

Oklahoma- this one's at home so we have a better chance next year than this, but probably a loss.

Florida- 6-5 record this year best players entering the draft and a first year coach. Toss up.

Georgia- at home and we always play Georgia tough, but have to give the edge to Georgia, but we have a chance to win this one.

Alabama- loss.

South Carolina- 6-6 record this year another home game. Toss up.

Arkansas- another 6-6 team this year and yet another home game another toss up.

Missouri- road game against defending east champions. I hate to say it but probably a loss, but like the Georgia game we definitely have a chance.

So out of those other 7 games 3 of them are against 6 win teams this year just like us with two of them at home and the other on the road against a first year head coach.

2 more home games against ou and ga that we will be underdogs in but with a slight chance to win and a road game against mizzui that we have a slight chance to win.
If we can't pull off 8 wins next year I'm done with butch. But I truly believe we can accomplish it and I believe in our team.

After reviewing the schedule I believe 8 win and 9 should not be unrealistic, if the ball bounces right it cold be a 10 win..

I'm so glad that our fans don't control the decision making process of keeping or firing a coach

09/05 - Bowling Green (at Nashville)
09/12 - Oklahoma
9/19 - Western Carolina
9/26 - at Florida
10/03 - Arkansas
10/10 - Georgia
10/24 - at Alabama
10/31- at Kentucky
11/07 - South Carolina
11/14 - North Texas
11/21 - at Missouri
11/28 - Vanderbilt

The only game that I would write off as a loss is Alabama.

Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma are toss ups.

I think a 7 win season is not unrealistic at all. I would like to see at least 8 wins, which means Jones came out with 2 of those games as wins.

At some point, you have to beat teams you are not expected to beat.

A repeat of this shite show that was the Florida game this year can't happen again.

So.. 7-5, if looking for the trend to continue up. 8-4 or better for what I was consider a "better than expected" season.

Turnover in coaching is the exact opposite of what we need right now. Unless Butch just shits himself next year (5-7, 4-8) then he needs to stay and needs our support. You're saying that if he doesn't win 8 then you're done with him? Seriously? Look at what happened when our fan base wanted Fulmer gone. We won the east the year before...

I just don't get with how badly our program has been crippled by coaching turnover that anyone would be ok with the firing of another coaching staff again. It's what put us in this horrible half decade in the first place.
