i recommend reading the entire interview. He talks about Cooper, media perception, how much CNS does for the university, and more. When asked about the RBs it appears all he wanted to talk about is Drake:

quote:

"The amazing thing is, the most unique of all of them, Kenyan Drake, was injured in that Ole Miss game and is out for the year. He was kind of the Reggie Bush factor - the first play of the Florida game we threw to him as a wide receiver (for an 87-yard touchdown). The other guys are phenomenal running backs, but don't do the other stuff that Kenyan did, but it will be exciting to get him back next year. And I always, I shouldn't do it, but I think sometimes, imagine if we still had him. It would be such a mismatch issue."

My favorite part. Drake AND Kiffin most likely coming back next year.

Kif is one of CNS's best recruiting jobs.....period. I think when he snuck into Tuscaloosa after the Tennessee thing that gained untold respect from Saban. It's been fun to watch and CNS doesn't get near enough credit for this hire.

Yeah I heard an LSU fan on Finebaum yesterday say that this is CNS's worst job coaching because Bama would've lost several more games this year if not for Kiffin. Who does he think hired him?

Of course he went on to say that Bama doesn't have any good players on D and LC is awful in coverage

We can only imagine what he would have done with a new age Marqise Lee and Reggie Bush, in the same offense, LOL.

"People have this perception of who he is and he's all football and everything. This guy gives more to the university than I could ever imagine doing. The Friday before the Iron Bowl, he's meeting with women's tennis recruits to help out the tennis program. I'm looking at the schedule saying this is amazing, but he is non-stop, every day, University of Alabama."

This is just another example of why I think there's a good chance that Saban will accept the AD job when Battle retires. And I am 100% certain that UA will offer him the job.

We would be undefeated if we had Drake. The dimension he added to this offense would've been off the charts. Imagine a defense having to keep track of Cooper, White, Henry, Drake, OJ, & Blake at the same time.

No team would've been able to double up on Cooper.
