So, I can't go to the Semi-Final so I was taking a look at prices for National Championship tickets in the event Alabama makes it. Holy shite. Worst seats in the house are starting at $800+ per ticket - for upper deck corner end zone seats.

What do think are the odds these will come down? I'd pay in the $800 range for good seats, don't think I would pay that for corner end zone nosebleed seats. Good seats are $2000 and up right now.

In the past you could get decent seats for NC games in the $500-600 range. You could get in the building for less than that.

Right now four fanbases are bidding on tickets....so it will be tough to figure out. Then once the semis are done, there'll be a quick turnaround to either ditch tickets or acquire them. It'll be interesting to see.

Yeah they are ridiculously high right now. Wait until it gets closer to kick if we make it. I've seen it every year...fans get excited and sell/buy high then the closer it gets prices go down. Only time this didn't happen was Auburn in Arizona. Even Bama-Notre Dame had some face value tickets floating around

I bought two Oregon team tix in the 200 level at the beginning of the season. I'm hoping for an Oregon - Bama championship. Wife and I will be in a sea of green unless other Bama fans did the same

Best bet is to wait till the week of the garner when each school gets their tickets. The market will flood and prices will come down.

Downside is that face value for even uppers is 450 now, I just don't see prices falling below 550 this year.

50 yard line seats for the SB are around 1800-2000. I can't believe they cost as much or more than a NC ticket.

Sugar Bowl ticket prices jumped a little today from what I can tell. Seats on the row behind mine are for sell at $750 each.

I think if Oregon beats FSU there will be less demand for tickets, thus dropping the price. Out of all the fan bases, the Ducks appear to be the last of the four when it comes to traveling.

Upper deck "cheap" seats are still around $800 on Stubhub. Good seats still $2000+. In other words, hardly any movement the last three weeks. Also doesn't look like hardly any of the secondary market tickets are selling. Everybody appears to be holding out - buyers and sellers.

Will be interesting to see what happens after the games on Thursday. I'm holding out. I'd pay $800ish for decent seats (at least 300 level and on the sideline), but I don't think I am paying that for seats in the corner of the endzone in the 400 level upper deck.

Around half of the potential attendees will be eliminated from the buying pool Thursday, so they should go down a little, but I don't think they'll go down much initially. Once schools get their tickets and distribute them, the prices will come down a little more. Still, with a $450 face value for the crappy seats, I just can't see them coming down much from $800. Maybe down to $600.

I heard FSU hasn't sold many Rose Bowl tickets (understandable) but ticket requests for Dallas are through the roof. If we play FSU it should be an expensive ticket.

Oregon shouldn't travel well and will make for a much easier ticket.

No one will be buying till the teams are known. Wait till the week of the game and I bet prices will be 600 and move lower.

My brother has gone to every national championship game we've been in over the past few years and always pays less than face.

Wait till the game starts and you'll get in really cheap. He got in the auburn vs. Oregon game for $175

Face value for uppers is 490 FWIW. Had the chance to go but turned it down this year. Uncle will be in a super nice box at Jerry's world though.
