The first WR to win the award since Wendell Davis (LSU) in 1987.

2 catches for 20 yards, an average of 10 yards a catch, that seems more like a Sims problem than a Cooper problem.

I though Josh Reed won SEC offensive player of the year in 2001.

Didn't Rex Grossman win the award that year?

Shut down by a fifth year senior, his quarterback.

But y'all did a number on Sims. That was one of the worst performances by an Alabama qb since the GMac days.

You're probably thinking of the Biletnikoff Award.

So Sammie Coates made it as 2nd team All SEC over Duke Williams.

Duke had more yards, TDs and receptions while missing 25% of our season and playing a game injured.

Impossible. LSU didn't have a football program back then.
