To be fair Shula isn't running a pro offense.

His players get paid right? That would make it a pro offense.

Pro game has started mirroring college offenses.

He is totally worth the 180,000 dollars we paid him to come to AU.

If Cam got an OL, RBs, more than 1 WR a year and an OC who isn't a moron he could have a chance.

I don't know if he will ever be an elite NFL qb though

The OL is the worst issue to me. He's been hit more times than any QB since getting into the league, and a solid OL could cover up some of the issues at RB and WR by opening up holes and giving Cam more time.

It would also help if Kelvin Benjamin wasn't a lazy route runner and learned how to catch the ball consistently.

Cam really just needs to get out of Carolina. Their cap issues are so bad that there is no way he can have a good career with the few pieces they will be able to put around him

I would love to see him in Philly under Chip Kelley.

While Bruce Arians wouldn't have him, I would love to see him with Arians.

The same knocks on Cam are what people say about Big Ben in Pittsburgh. Ben's only 2 pro bowls were under Arians. Arians is just a stud offensive coach and missing a QB in Arizona

If Carson Palmer is done after this year, what would stop Arians from going after Cam? I'm not very familiar with NFL stuff.

Bruce Arians is an old school offensive guy and doesn't really belive in these new age spread QBs who he doesn't believe can read defenses.

Also, Cardinals won't have salary cap room for Cam. With Palmer getting a ridiculous $21mil guaranteed despite coming off a serious shoulder injury already this season, it completely kills their cap space for a new QB

I see. That's too bad. What teams do you think will be in the market for QBs this offseason?

If Chicago fires their HC, Cutler will be gone one way or another. Cam is used to getting hit.

Quite a few. I wouldn't be shocked if Philly, Oakland, Houston or Chicago all were looking for a QB and looked at Cam.

Financially it probably makes sense for him tos tick with the Panthers though. I don't see anyone paying him top dollar based on his performance this year

I would love him in Houston. If they could somehow snag a WR like Amari that offense would be scary good next year. I believe they'll be dumping Andre Johnson after this season, so that will clear up a bit of cap space.

Chip Kelly's offense will never work in the Pros.

Back in the day I always felt bad for Archie Manning when he played for New Orleans.

Cam is in a similar situation.

As crazy as this sounds, Cam should go to Oakland. They aren't even pretending to be relevant right now. As a result, their draft position, salary cap situation and flexibility is ridiculously awesome.

Just need to hire a quality OC to take advntage of Cam and start spending money

Cam Newton should go to the Buffalo Bills, honestly. Stout defense, CJ Spiller, Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, Fred Jackson and so forth. They have some weapons but a bust in EJ Manuel and then Kyle Orton (nothing more than a journeyman quarterback).
