I can't believe he's that irreplaceable as sideline reporter.Sean McDonough just said the Cincinnati announcer will do the Alabama-Xavier game

Cause its basketball. Must have been a rhetorical question.

So the radio football sideline reporter position is more important than basketball play by play announcer?

One team is playing in a conference championship game, the other an early season contest.

There is no need to be obtuse.

You're smarter than this. I feel like I'm explaining something to someone that already knows it, but ok.

Yes, the SEC Championship Game in football is more important than a regular-season, non-conference, December game in basketball.

How many people will be listening to the football game versus those listening to the basketball game? I'd say it's probably something like 20-1, if not more.
