I look forward to the new renderings.
Hopefully they scrapped that South Endzone "renovation" plan.

I want this

But it sounds like we are getting this

Look at the Entrance of the first one. It is amazing. I understand they afraid they can't sell the extra seats but if you want to be big time-Think Big Time. You also could have the Upper portion of the NEZ as an outdoor club area with tables and chairs instead of having all seats. I know when I donated into the FTR I was shown It was due to seeing the first pic.

Sure hope they still bowl in the north end-zone so it looks & feels like a whole stadium; instead of 3/4, (so does Scott Field). Although VHS has the bleachers; the sooner another use for them is found, the better.

Bottom one will be nice; for now.

Would love to live long enough to see it ringed with skyboxes & the red roof look.

I do want real grass back, however; not meant to be a dig, in any way.

Another view of original NEZ

VHS would be pretty damn badass if we decided to bowl it in all the way

Keep the noise in; forever is a long time.

Look at SEC Stadium sizes in the '30's.

I think they all will be 100k plus, eventually.

Vandy will be held back, by, among other things, a larger stadium already in town.

I hope I live to see that; but I don't think it's actually to much of a stretch seeing as the SEC is basically the only conference that every team fills up their stadiums (except Vandy) and not to mention that only 4 schools do not have stadiums that are at least 70k.

'Course you can always have a reverse trend, as Cal & Stanford have seen, reducing the sizes by something like 25k each.

Ticket prices are a bit ridiculous.

Remember when ArKansas joined the SEC? 2d smallest stadium, only to Vandy?

I agree. Just a way to make a cheap buck. I say redo the west press box area first.

I would imagine we'll get the official renderings in the days following the bowl selection. For fundraising purposes.

You can see our video boards in the SEZ corner too. I wasn't sure if they were still in the plan or not. Glad they are

Are they planning on doing aesthetic renovations to the outside as well? I'm pretty fine with everything they are doing but I'd like the outside to get a nice work up.

The exterior of the sideline grandstands could really use a brick façade or some touching up at the very least.

I'm not sure if that's in the immediate plans or not. I haven't read that anywhere.

I do think the arena will help the overall appearance of the west side of the stadium, but I would also like to see some moderations to the exterior of VHS.

You would think it's a part of the long-term plan after seeing the renderings of the NEZ including a brick facade.

So will the team come out in the same spot? Also it may have just not been added in in the video but where's Chucky Mullin's statue? I hope they don't move it because it's perfect where it is.
