Since his GOAT team couldn't get it done, will Mullens ever get it done?

This was supposed to be their year to win the SEC and compete for a national title. If he couldn't get it done this year with all that talent, it's not looking promising for Merlins to ever win it all at Miss State.
Perhaps he should be looking for a school with a higher profile where he'll have a better chance of getting it done.

When he made a smartass comment in his presser about how they competed for championships when nobody in that room (reporters) thought they could I almost busted my gut laughing.
"YEA YOU GUYS SAID WE COULDN'T WIN A TITLE HERE BUT WE ALMOST DID SO SUCK IT"
Sounds good Muffins

But Arkansas gets it done soon for sure.

Arky's GOAT team since joining the SEC couldn't win it either.... we're talking the greatest backfield of all time...

Who are you to talk hogfanboy?
Your team is like...allergic to championships since the 1960s.

Prescott isn't the last good quarterback State will have under Mullen. After Dak leaves next year, they have Elijah Staley to take his place and he will be pretty damn good IMO. He's huge too. Like 6'6-6'7 240 pounds

Mullen will probably never win it all. There are only a few football programs in college football that are viable candidates to win it all.
No reason he can't put out a consistently good football team though.

State fans have thrown him away like we have kinkade. The white boy is their future now

Suck for State that they had to face Bama and Ole Miss down the stretch. Bama is Bama, of course, and Ole Miss is a rivalry game.

Virgil looks like he is going to the mighty SMU mustangs. I think a greyshirt was about right for him.

Virgil put up great numbers in high school, Tiano put up decent numbers put not at all on the same level.
However, Virgil is all of about 6'1" 170 lbs., while Tiano is 6'5" 235 lbs. and runs the exact same offense that Dak is playing in now.
Surprise, surprise, we're going the same route we always do, take a frame and mind and coach them up.
