Thinking about everything that's going on with UAB, should these Louisiana schools drop football altogether or drop down to the FCS level?

I never thought it was sensible to have two FBS programs that are near one another in north Louisiana.

They should at least be in the same conference. For whatever reason LA Tech thinks they have graduated from the Sun Belt. The WAC never made sense to them. Now C-USA is somewhat better travel wise but they are still not on the same budget as most of those schools.

Who cares about budget? Tech put up 76 on the 2nd place team in their division and they are bout to whip up on the Herd to win the Conference. Ruff Ruff!!

It's hilarious that La Tech thinks they are so far above ULM. As an LSU fan, ULM is the only remotely likable FBS program in the state. They're the only ones (aside from maybe Tulane) that don't have a massive Napoleon complex, yet they seem to have more success upsetting major programs than any of the other teams.

Each school is going to be different. I can speak on South Alabama and yes, they need to drop football like UAB.

Why is LSU so scared of ULL, ULM, and La Tech? Its not like they are going to steal any of your recruits (Alabama does enough of that). The people of Lafayette deserve thier own football team!
