I like to think I do a good job of separating my football watching life with my real life. Losses don't get me down for more than a day or so, but that's not to say Alabama success isn't really important to me.

First, since Saban has been at Alabama, I've kicked off most seasons with very high expectations. But the success is still sooooo sweet. Recruiting in 08, then 08, really set up 09 to be a memory to last a lifetime. Then 2010 made the 2011 a remarkably satisfying season and has set up scenario where it's now just really fun to sit back and see how many of these championships the team can snatch while the iron is so hot. At this point, being an Alabama fan is almost like playing with house money.

But god damn, this is still so much fun! I don't really have the words to convey just how excited and proud I am to truly love watching these guys year in and year out. I really thought all the success would become dull, but it's quite opposite.

I hope you guys and gals enjoy these seasons and even each week as much as possible. It's no lie that it won't last forever. But dammit, while we, and the team are in the middle of it, enjoy this shite as much as possible. And appreciate just how blessed we are to be in this situation, even though we don't have that much influence on the happenings and outcomes of the team.

One more victory and it's on once again. To the Alabama Crimson Tide

This is awesome. This team is really not that great compared to other teams. I expected a down year. In 2 years the team will likely be the best Saban has had. Next year looks down as well, but I have high expectations given what Kiffin could do with Blake.

It's addicting.... and looking at our whole athletic dept recently during the Saban era, jumping from 4 non-football national titles in anything to... well I've lost track, it's becoming contagious.

So did I. Some really outstanding coaching for us to only have 1 loss and a chance at a NC. This team isn't in the same breath as 2011,2012 but we still have a chance to win a NC, just have to out coach and out want a few of the teams that are now closer to our level.

I enjoy watching this team more than the previous teams. Sure they're not as good but, they are having fun and embracing the moment. If we, somehow, go on to win it all, this will be Sabans' best coaching job since he has been here. jmo

At the douche Auburn or LSU fan downvoting all the posts.

Hope it helps you get over the pain.

Next year the Bama D could be extremely tough, maybe the best D line in years. There are enough pieces back on offense that if a QB develops, and theres enough talent there I think, we can be very good again.
