Kicked the shite out of a team that will probably make the tourney. I'm feeling better and better about this team.

Arkansas finally has the depth at all positions to fully run Anderson's system. Also the culture has now been fully established at Arkansas that you will run and play hard and there is no other option.

This team has won having to play toward different styles and tempos than they would like, having to find different ways to secure victories, having to rely on different guys each game to win.

The dominated Iona on second chance points today.

There hasn't been long lulls in scoring, offense, or defense, just a steady rate of play to around 90 points a game.

This team is stacked with good guards who do all things well, not just one thing, which is the type of guards Pel brought in, guys who were only good at one thing instead of at worst being average at all things.

With Miles, Williams, Harris, and Ports playing the forward spots, it presents a huge match up problem for teams in that all four can handle the ball very well for their size and position, they are also able to guard smaller quicker players out on the perimeter meaning the potential to always switch on screens puts an emphasis on teams having to run an actual offense instead of plays, set plays are not effective against a defense that can do the things this team does on defense.

We finally have guys coming off the bench that don't completely suck. Manny Watkins has impressed me with his defense this year, he flies to the ball and sacrifices his body all the time to get steals.

He's just one example of a bench player that can actually contribute something other than giving our starters a breather.

Watkins leads the SEC in Steals per game, FWIW.

My dad said last night that if they keep winning they'll eventually fill Barnhill.

He meant Bud Walton, but I found it pretty hilarious given the light crowds we've had so far.

The biggest improvement I have seen this year personally. Not to many times the ball has been stagnant like last year.

The difference is we finally don't have a Courtney Fortson/BJ type of player. The team plays as a whole unit and that will always win more games.

I think our attendance will suffer because you can watch every game on TV.

I know I won't go watch a game at Bud Walton this year. I might catch them when they visit Florida though.

It isn't because you can watch on TV as much as it is TV causing week night games to tip off at 8.

It just isn't feasible to rush to the game then be out that late for those of us who start the day at 6 and end it around 7.

Have to admit the late tips are great or I wouldn't be able to watch the games at all.

Not much longer we'll be saying the same thing about our football team

Honestly we were a pretty good team last year and we're probably better than several of the at large ncaa tourney teams. The only big problem was inconsistency
