Coaches put players in position to make plays. They do not execute on the field. We need better players. Out really comes down to that fact.
Thank the sun Mincy is almost done.

Mincy should have been kicked off the team for his arrest this offseason. Especially considering the details
I'm starting to wonder wtf is going on with discipline when it comes to defensive players

not just the secondary, pass rush just does not exist. the entire defense is like 2 players and hoping the opposing offense fricks up.

Again, whose job is it to get quality players? Even coming off a NC appearance we still aren't doing it. If there was a light at the end of the tunnel it would be different.

I actually can agree with this somewhat. I agree I have seen players in position and didn't make a tackle or get turned around on a pass play. I will say Ellis did a poor job of disguising our defense on many occasions in several games though and that concerns me.

Insert any team in the conference. A&M may be the only one worse.

Garner has been solid at recruiting and considering what he inherited and injuries he has been beyond solid. Maybe not elite but definitely worth keeping.

Yea but I don't see our coaches having them in that position to make the plays you speak of. It's basical fundamental football mistakes that keep occurring. We can and should do better. Everyone in the country knew the ball was going to Cooper and yet we still left him singled covered every damn time. That's scheming and it's bad scheming.

I didn't really get "mad" on any defensive breakdown all night, partly because I expected it, except the TD that whitehead just watched happened. How you don't have your head around in that situation is just mind boggling, he could have intercepted it with any awareness at all.
