watching the GT-UGA game. Obvious Roof has these 3 stars playing well.

Hard to argue this point that Roof was anything but solid at AU and people around him fugged up. Despite Luper &CO recruiting crappy DBS, LBs and Chiz putting his hands in the cookie jar, Roof was solid.

he was a bad hire from the stand point of he and Chizik were never on the same page for what they wanted to do with the defense. It was obvious from watching defenses that Roof coaches, outside of his time at Auburn, that Chizik tried to mold him and his defense into something he didn't feel comfortable with.
Roof is a good DC, not great like Tony Franklin is a good OC, not a great OC. Both were just bad fits at the time at Auburn.

Roofs not bad against big 10 offenses, ACC offenses, and a Hudson Mason QBd UGA... and the dawgs keep fumbling on the 1 yard line.

His team with recruiting in the 50-60's has held UGA to one TD into the 3rd quarter.

a thread that makes me think of AU's current defense AND Ted Roof defenses of the past at the same time. thanks for that, now I have to go puke.

Are you watching the fricking game?... UGA should've scored 21 first half points, fumbles twice on the 1.... Chubb had 120 yards in the first quarter.

Hard to have much hope for tonight after watching that game. UGA made us look like girls on the LOS, GT made UGA look like girls on the LOS.
