I watched the game today, and I officially have expectations. The Aggies haven't been this fun to watch since Sloan was an Aggie. The only player I don't love is Jordan Green. He still seems so stiff on offense.

I also think it's funny that all of the recruiting websites had Tonny Trocha-Morelos' name wrong. The hyphen is one thing, but they even missed an "n" in the first name. Tells you how weird of a recruitment it was.

I really think we can get 4th in the conference this year and at least a NIT bid. We have size and can score

I have been super anti-Kennedy and really negative about the state of our team, but these guys really pass the eye test for me. Tons of depth, and the older guys really want to win.

No way. This is a low seed tourney team.

I didn't say that was the ceiling. I was saying that looks like the bare minimum for this team

Just finished the game, couldn't watch it live.

This was another impressive game from the ags, albeit against an inferior New Orleans squad. Though we know they've had issues with teams they should beat going back to last year. So I don't take any of their wins for granted. Not yet anyway.

P. Allen, kid can flat out shoot the rock. Maybe the best pure shooter a&m has had since josh carter. Only downside may be his defense. He looks a little flat footed and slow to react, but hey, he's white. However, there is no doubting his stroke. Jones had another really nice game, and House also found ways to be really effective even though he was a little off from the floor. I have to say I'm really impressed with House and his approach to the game. I figured he would be a bit more of a "me me me" guy, but that hasn't been the case from what I've seen. He busts his arse on defense, shares the ball and genuinely seems to enjoy his teammates. Trocha's presence on the court defensively cannot be understated. You can see that his length is causing problems and changing the shots of the guys around the rim. Add in rebounds and some easy put backs and he will be really solid. As for our guards, Caruso & Robinson, they did a really nice job moving the ball, getting it to the open man and penetrating to force the issue when needed. All in all it was a really solid team effort and you can see the players and coaches are starting to feel each other out, and find what combinations work. It should be a really exciting year for these boys, and they have the potential to be a lot of fun to watch. I just hope they are rewarded by the fans slowly starting to show up and buy in. We need Reed Arena to be the shite again, and I think this year we might have a chance to do that.

Tl/dr: we pretty good & I'm pretty damn excited!
